One of the most satisfying aspects of portrait photography is working through the session with the model. They might start unsure and camera-shy, but slowly become more confident with the process. However, my latest session was an exception. My model is seasoned and knew what to do the whole time. I barely had to give him any instructions, and I felt somewhat useless. It's a testament to his talents, and I'm glad I managed to have a portrait session with him, something I had planned since 2022 but only had the chance to pull off this year.
